Zydeco (/ˈzaɪdɪˌkoʊ/ ZY-dih-koh or /ˈzaɪdiˌkoʊ/ ZY-dee-koh, French: Zarico) is a music genre that evolved in southwest Louisiana by French Creole speakers which blends blues, rhythm and blues, and music indigenous to the Louisiana Creoles and the Native people of Louisiana. Though distinct in origin from the Cajun music of Louisiana, the two forms frequently influenced each other, forming a complex of genres native to Louisiana.

The first time we played, the bar sold out of all the beer. All of it. Hire us and the people will come. They will also sprinkle all of their money upon your fine establishment. Everyone wins.
This is danceable music. The United States Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) recommends at least 1 hour and 15 minutes of vigorous activities per week.

People say, 'I enjoy listening to you on the radio.' I say, 'I enjoy listening to Zydecorp. You will, too.'

Radio Personality, WEOS FMBefore Zydecorp, I was just an ordinary guy living an ordinary life. Now we live in a post Zydecorp world and when I walk by strangers, they say 'look at him!' Thanks to Zydecorp, my step has more pep. Thank you Zydecorp!
Dan Bissell
Winemaker, Keuka Spring VineyardsI have recently come to terms with and accepted that I was no longer benefitting from my long-term, semi-permanent symbiotic relationship. It turns out that venues were only booking me for my dance moves and long eye lashes. I was miffed at first but then I felt used. I felt completely drained. To be honest, I felt like everything was lost. I couldn’t even play campfire music anymore without longing for my missing parasite. When I heard Zydecorp had 100 years combined experience, 9 honors and awards, and at least (some) trusted clients, I was absolutely positive that they could make everything better. That’s exactly what they did. Zydecorp gave me back my me.
